Inositol, also vitamin B8, supports cellular metabolism, particularly in the ovaries which produce hormones vital for fertility and ovulation. It acts as an antioxidant, improving symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome and hormonal imbalances. Maintaining balanced inositol levels is crucial for overall health, and consulting a doctor for dosage is important.

Pregnancy assistance

Indispensable for Polycystic Ovary Disease (PCOS). I took it during my pregnancy planning, which helped reduce insulin resistance and male hormones. Along with primrose, selenium, vitamin E, omega, and methylfolate, I achieved my much-awaited pregnancy and later had a son. I still take it in cycles to lower androgens and control the amount of male hair. It shows effectiveness but requires prolonged use. Highly recommend!

I find inositol beneficial for managing my polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and diabetes. I've shifted from Amazon to iHerb for my purchases. It effectively lowers blood triglyceride levels, enhances insulin function, and promotes ovulation in women suffering from PCOS. If you appreciate my review, please hit the like button!

At 37, we are trying to conceive our second child. Inositol is crucial for follicle formation and oocyte quality. It improves outcomes in assisted reproductive technologies (ART) by reducing medication doses and increasing viable oocytes. Studies show a significant rise in pregnancy rates, even in those with Polycystic ovary syndrome.

Regulated cycles noted

As a woman with PCOS, I’ve tried various means to regulate my hormones. After changing my diet and trying several herbs, I found inositol, which has been a game changer. It's now my third month without missing my period (after 18 months of absence). I have more energy, and I attribute this improvement to both dietary changes and inositol. It’s been transformative.

Successful conception

After 11 years of undiagnosed infertility, I began taking inositol nearly ten months ago and became pregnant. This is indispensable for women, despite the large capsule size, which I swallow easily. I have not noticed any aftertaste or side effects. The quality is remarkable, and I will continue to order it.

Regulates insulin levels

I have Polycystic ovary syndrome and am pre-diabetic. I restarted my keto diet while taking inositol capsules, which have shown to improve insulin sensitivity and reduce insulin levels. My periods have become more regular over the last two months. I've also noticed an improvement in the dark patches on my skin. Highly recommend this product!

Insulin improvement

My doctor prescribed this due to PCOS and my aversion to metformin, which adversely affects the kidneys. I paired it with chromium picolinate and berberine, and it has helped significantly with my polycystic disease; my hands have shrunk and my insulin levels have improved. I take 2000 mg, equating to four tablets after dinner. I've completed three packs, and my ovulation has returned.

Improved ovarian function

In Polycystic ovary syndrome, using D-chiro-inositol or myo-inositol lowers triglyceride and testosterone levels, slightly reduces blood pressure, and enhances ovarian function in overweight women. Some studies indicate that using both forms of inositol together improves ovulation and has positive effects on blood pressure, glucose, and insulin levels. A gynecologist prescribed inositol to enhance egg quality. I take four capsules daily. I cannot find inositol locally, making it convenient to order from iHerb at a reasonable price. This is my second order; I have faith that inositol will help me become a mother.

Better egg quality
37 people found this helpful
I began taking Inositol to improve egg quality for fertility, targeting insulin resistance related to Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). I take 4,000 mg daily, which requires consuming eight capsules in divided doses. Despite being quite a few, they are manageable to swallow. The results from my egg collection after this regimen were excellent; I observed a significant increase in mature eggs and normal fertilisation. This method was effective even in comparison to Clomid and HMG stimulation.

Very beneficial for PCOS sufferers, it acts as an alternative to Glucophage, activating the ovaries and improving egg quality alongside hormone regulation. If my comment aids you, please give a thumbs up 🤍
